INTRODUCTION

Le Dr. Neelamekam est un chirurgien gastro-entérologue renommé, spécialiste en chirurgie mini-invasive et en transplantation, et il dispose d'une expérience de plus de 27 ans. Au cours de ces années, il a été associé à certaines des principales institutions médicales telles que Madras Medical college, Kilpauk Medical college, Glan Clwyd Hospital (UK), Kings College Hospital, Londres, St. Vincent’s Hospital (Irlande), Sri Ram Chandra Medical University (Chennai), Apollo Hospitals (Chennai), pour n'en nommer que quelques-unes.

Il est associé à certaines des principales organisations professionnelles telles que l'Association of Surgeons of India (ASI), Indian Association of Surgical Gastroenterology (IASG), Indian Association of Gastroenterology (ISG), Indian Association of HPB Surgery (IHPBA), Indian Society of Parental and Enteral Nutrition (ISPEN), Society of Endoscopic & Laparoscopic Surgeons (SELSI), Association of Minimal Access Surgery of India (AMASI), parmi d'autres.

Il a suivi une formation internationale dans des institutions telles que le Glan Clwyd Hospital, North Wales (Royaume-Uni), le Kings College Hospital (Royaume-Uni) et le St.Vincent’s Hospital, Irlande.

Il a été formé en chirurgie hépatobiliaire (HPB), chirurgie digestive supérieure, chirurgie colorectale et transplantation pendant 10 ans au Royaume-Uni avant de créer le Département de chirurgie gastroentérologique de l'université SRMC Porur, Chennai.
